This policy explains how CleanProfit ("we") collects and uses information when you use CleanProfit.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and a securely hashed password.
- Business information: company name, contact details, logo and settings you enter.
- Customer Data: information about your clients, quotes, jobs, costs and transactions that you enter. You control this data; we process it on your behalf.
- Technical data: IP address and session cookies needed to keep you logged in and protect the Service (for example, limiting failed login attempts).
- Contact form: the name, email and message you send us.
How we use information
- To provide, secure and maintain the Service.
- To send emails you request, such as quotes to your clients and password resets.
- To respond to your messages and provide support.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use your Customer Data for advertising.
Cookies
We use one essential session cookie to keep you signed in and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service (such as our hosting and email providers), under appropriate confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.
Payments
We do not store full credit card numbers. If online payments are introduced, they will be processed by a PCI-compliant payment provider.
Security and retention
Passwords are hashed, connections should use HTTPS, and each business can only access its own records. We keep data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or the law requires otherwise.
Your rights
You can access and update your information in the app and export your transactions. You may request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting us. Residents of certain US states (for example, California) may have additional rights, which we will honor as required by law.
Children
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy and will indicate the date of the latest update above.
